Kayla Ford and Mo Hady’s Pearle Hotel Wedding was one for the books! I truly believe Kayla and I were meant to work together when she reached out even though my contact form had mentioned that I was fully booked. It was the only weekend date I had left available in September so I guess we could say this was pure luck!

Kayla and Mo are the seriously one of sweetest couple’s I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! From our first meeting, to the engagement shoot, to the family shoot for the annual Christmas card/rehearsal days before the wedding, and the wedding itself.. I just adore them! I can see where they get it from though, Karla and Doug Ford along with her wonderful sisters Krista, Kyla and Kara are hands down the sweetest people I’ve ever met.

On Kayla and Mo’s wedding day, it happened to be raining.. but with the theme of luck, the rain stopped just in time and long enough for some photos of the two of them around the grounds of The Pearle Hotel. Since we took advantage of the waterfront during their engagement shoot, we decided to take all their photos of the two of them around the building this time. Kayla’s Hollywood glam vibe with the open slit in her dress was perfect for this venue. She absolutely rocked this look.

A little love note from Kayla:

“I LOVED her work, and inquired for her services (though her page did note that she was fully booked for 2022. I hesitated but it was worth asking as it ended up working out perfectly).

In our first intro video call, I told her I valued time and wouldn’t waste a minute. I said book us in!! The moment she entered our home to shoot our engagement photos, I truly felt like my best friend was over. She loved Majsha too, so that is a plus plus!! I showed her my outfits for her opinion and she asked to see my closet and changed our entire looks (so much respect to do that <3).

Sandra has attention to the smallest of details. She knows what photographs well, while so easily capturing natural moments. She will notice a crack in the concrete, unflattering poses (that only my sisters would notice), tell Mo if he was posing unnatural. I am telling you, she will tell you the truth that you will appreciate later!! Her work speaks for itself, look at her page!

We had a fun night together at our rehearsal dinner, in which my parents and sisters loved her too only minutes after meeting her. She ended up staying longer to ensure we had everything perfect for our wedding ceremony (thank you) <3

Fast forward to the night before our wedding – skip the long detailed version, we had some hiccups and Sandra (literally) saves the day. She wasn’t only the photographer, she ran the entire show. I do not think she had a minute to sit all day. She handled pressure so gracefully.
