Julianna and Dylan’s engagement session at Mill Race Park wasn’t part of the original plan. They had their wedding scheduled for June 5th, 2020. As it happens, COVID changed those plans. Their original date was in the midst of the pandemic before things began opening up again, so they had to reschedule for next year. But there was a silver lining!

Julianna and Dylan also originally didn’t have an engagement session booked. But since postponing their wedding, they decided to take advantage and get them done, and I’m so happy they did! We had a great time capturing these images. We had the session at the beginning of September just as the leaves started changing colours and the cooler weather started to make its way for fall.

Mill Race Park is such a fitting place for an autumn-themed engagement session. It just had the right backdrops that went well with a gloomy lighting. And I especially love that the outfits Julianna and Dylan chose to wear complemented so perfectly with the background setting. Between that and the candid poses, these two were total naturals! The session went so smoothly.
