Huron Natural Area summer engagement sessions are definitely a top favourite when it comes to choosing a shoot location in the KW area. So many different backdrops and scenes to work with, all within steps of each other.
We took the forest trail so we had a backdrop of rich greens, tall grass, the woods, and even some flowers in full bloom. All of them were perfect for both romantic and fun candid shots, which these two really nailed. Like most of my couples, they are total naturals!
They were an absolute pleasure to work with. Dancing in the middle of the forest, Carmine carrying Jessica over his shoulder, or just simply striking a pose down the wooden pathway at Huron Natural Area, they did it all on their own. It’s like capturing them on a normal day date, which makes these photos more meaningful.
Our session happened on a beautiful summer day with a little cloud cover here and there. The way the light was hitting them was perfection. I LOVE evening sessions for that reason, especially on a beautiful day like this one. A tip for anyone booking their future engagement session, lighting is everything so make sure to pick the right time of the day for the look you’re going for.
I’m so happy with how these photos turned out! It’s making me so excited to capture them on their wedding day next August, and they’re having it in one of my all-time favourite venues – Whistle Bear! Thank you both for trusting in me and choosing me to capture these special moments for the two of you!
