Under unfortunate circumstances of Meghan and Jonny having to postpone their wedding to April this year, I had the opportunity to shoot my first Elopement at Elora Mill. I can’t even explain to you how obsessed I am with this day! Although it was quite a chilly, im talking like -30 chilly, this January Winter elopement was everything that I (and they) have ever dreamed of. They got ready together in the Solarium Suite over looking the river and the spa, what a view! They also decided to hold their elopement in the hotel room, everything was just perfect with how they planned this day.

Meghan had already mentally prepared to get outdoors and fight the cold for portraits. But of course even with mentally preparing, it was way too cold so we couldn’t bare it any longer (they did a great job of not making it look that way though!). Lucky for us, Elora Mill has the best indoor spot. We were able to utilize The Granary reception room for their wedding photos. Also, Can we just talk about how these two seriously look like they belong on the cover of a magazine?!

I’m not kidding when I tell you I had to fight back the tears on this day. So much love between these two, the emotions were sky high and I loved every minute of it! You can see it in the photos, the way Jonny looks at Meghan just melts my heart. Let’s not even talk about the crying during the ceremony, I get emotional every time I scan through these images.

The best part about all of this, I get to spend the day with this amazing couple again in April and I’m beyond excited to have them in front of the camera again and create even more magic, but this time with their friends and family.
