The scenery at Huron Natural Area always sets the right mood for engagement sessions. And with the gorgeous afternoon light, my couple just glowed.

Brittany and Eric have been together for 9 years, since they were in Grade 11! They are high school sweethearts and both are big soccer and hockey fans. They actually play on a coed soccer team together.

With so much history together, they unsurprisingly have such a natural chemistry between them. From the moment we started photographing, these two were total naturals. The joy and laughter between them were non-stop – perfect for a photographer. These two were such a joy to work with!

Brittany and Eric live in Oakville, but they are getting married at Whistle Bear. They chose to take their engagement photos in the city they were getting married in and, as always, Huron Natural Area provides the perfect engagement session backdrops for my couples.

One thing that was important to them when it comes to their engagement and wedding photos is being able to re-live the experience when looking at them. They didn’t want to fake poses for the sake of a photo, and instead have fun while taking them.

That’s exactly what they liked about my work, so they immediately contacted me after finding me through the Pearle preferred vendor list.

When choosing your photographer in a sea of millions, I could only imagine what a tough decision it must be for most couples. But when you know what you’re looking for, it makes it a little easier. These two wanted more “unposed” photos where their emotions can shine through to re-live every moment. I’m proud to say, I think we nailed that.
