I know I always say this but this is one of my favourite engagement sessions to date! Ben lived blocks away from the beach and always went down there growing up. When they told me this is where they want their photos to be taken, I was all for it!

Not only is it a beautiful backdrop for engagement photos, the place was also meaningful to the couple. And since both of them grew up in Toronto, we also featured the city a bit in some of the photos.

This was early in the fall. It’s been chilly after a gloomy week, but it seemed like the one day we went out for this session, the sun came out and blessed us with gorgeous light and cotton candy skies.

Ben and Rebecca had genuine laughs and smiles throughout the photos. It couldn’t have been the same without their personalities shining through. I took some of my favourite shots ever that day and I’m so excited to photograph their wedding at the beautiful Ancaster Mill in August!
