If I could use just one word to describe this day, it would be joyful. Growing up just 5 houses away from each other, these childhood sweethearts have practically lived their whole lives together. With that much history, it’s hard not to get sentimental over the idea of them spending the rest of it together. Everyone’s pure happiness for them was so heartfelt throughout that day.
Their love story started from a slow progression of friendship, and I love how that transcended into their wedding day. It had a smooth, stress-free timeline, and there’s not one moment of rush or pressure. There’s no element of production, it was just pure celebration. This has to be one of my top favorite weddings because of that.
The groom had a first look of the bride in her mom’s backyard. Such a simple place, yet so meaningful. Then they took the party to Rockway Gardens to take photos with everyone.
They were married in Gilt Restaurant by one of their closest friends—an old inside joke turned into reality! That made the ceremony much more personal and hilarious. They had the signing in Walper to make the marriage truly official with only the maid of honor and best man to witness. Then it was back to Gilt for the rest of the festivities.
All they wanted for their wedding was to have a big party for all their closest friends and family, and that’s exactly what they did! Thank you both again for having me capture this beautiful day for you. Wishing you all the love and happiness!
