1. How long does it take to receive my FINAL GALLERY?

Once I receive your final image selections, your fully edited online gallery will be delivered within 1–3 weeks. Timelines may vary slightly depending on project scope, but I always communicate delivery expectations clearly in advance.

2. Do you have a studio?

Yes! My studio is located just 5 minutes off the 401 in Cambridge, Ontario, and is included in your package when applicable. If your vision calls for a different space, you’re welcome to book an alternate studio independently — I also have access to preferred pricing at several studios across the GTA.

3. Who owns the copyright?

I retain the copyright to all images, which is standard practice in professional photography. For personal brand shoots, you’re granted broad usage rights to share your images across websites, social media, marketing materials, and paid advertisements. For commercial campaigns or large-scale usage (such as billboards or national advertising), licensing is customized based on the scope, duration, and platform requirements.

4. Can I have all the RAW files?

RAW files are not provided under any circumstance. Each delivered image is carefully selected and professionally edited to reflect my brand, quality standards, and artistic vision. You can trust that no strong or usable images are ever withheld from your final gallery.

5. This is my first photoshoot — what should I know?

You don’t need prior experience — that’s my job. From posing guidance to creative direction, I’ll walk you through every step so you feel confident and comfortable on set. Prior to your shoot, you’ll receive prep guidance to help you arrive relaxed, prepared, and camera-ready.

6. Can you recommend any good locations?

Absolutely. Location plays a huge role in the final look and feel of your images. Based on your brand, goals, and aesthetic, I’ll recommend studio options or outdoor locations that align seamlessly with your vision — whether that’s clean and modern, editorial, lifestyle, or bold and architectural.

7. Are travel expenses included in your packages?

Local travel within the Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo area is included.

For shoots outside this region, travel fees may apply and will always be discussed upfront so there are no surprises.

8. What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

If weather conditions aren’t ideal, we’ll assess the best option together — whether that’s adjusting timing, pivoting to a covered or indoor location, or rescheduling. Flexibility is built into the process, and the goal is always to deliver the strongest possible result.

9. Do you help with posing and direction?

Yes — absolutely. Most of my clients are not professional models, and I guide you through posing, movement, and expression throughout the entire shoot. My approach is natural and intuitive, ensuring your images feel confident, effortless, and true to you.

10. What should I wear to my shoot?

You’ll receive wardrobe guidance ahead of your session to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and align with your brand. Neutral tones, clean lines, and well-fitted pieces tend to photograph best, but recommendations are always tailored to your specific vision and goals.

11. Do you offer hair and makeup?

Hair and makeup services are not included by default, but I’m happy to recommend trusted professionals I regularly work with. Professional hair and makeup are highly encouraged, as they elevate the final result and help you feel your best on camera.

12. How many images will I receive?

The number of final images depends on the package you select. After the shoot, you’ll receive a curated proof gallery to choose your favorites from, with the option to purchase additional images if desired.

13. Do you retouch the images?

Yes — all final images receive professional retouching, including color correction, skin refinement, and light clean-ups while maintaining a natural, true-to-life look. I do not alter body shape or facial features, as my goal is to enhance rather than change you.

14. Can I request specific shots or inspiration?

Definitely. I encourage clients to share inspiration, mood boards, or must-have shots prior to the shoot. This helps align expectations and ensures we’re creating imagery that supports your brand and vision.

15. What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?

That’s completely normal — and more common than you think. I create a relaxed, encouraging environment and guide you every step of the way so you never feel unsure of what to do. Most clients tell me they felt far more comfortable than they expected.

16. How far in advance should I book?

Booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance is recommended, especially for commercial projects or time-sensitive campaigns. Limited availability may apply during peak seasons.
